Roudoudou

Roudoudou, born Laurent Étienne in 1963, is a French DJ and electronic music artist. He has been active in the music scene since the early 1980s. Roudoudou's style is a blend of funk, disco, dub, house, and breakbeat elements, often incorporating experimental and eclectic sounds. His music career includes notable albums such as *Tout l'Univers: Listener's Digest* (1998), *Just a Place in the Sun* (2001), and *Just a Place in Dub* (2003). Before adopting the Roudoudou moniker, Étienne was involved in radio work and was a member of the group Oui Oui.

Roudoudou gained recognition with his debut album *Tout l'Univers: Listener's Digest*, which featured the popular track "Peace and Tranquility to Earth." His music often incorporates samples and themes from familiar tunes and TV show soundtracks, giving it a unique nostalgic flair. After a period of silence, he released *Original Soundcrack: The Rise and Fall of the Record Empire* in 2006. Roudoudou's work has been featured in various media, including commercials and documentaries, showcasing his versatility and creativity in electronic music.
