Erato Alakiozidou

Erato Alakiozidou is a distinguished Greek pianist deeply involved in contemporary music, artistic exploration, and educational endeavors. She has collaborated as a soloist with various orchestras, including the Orchestra of Colors and the State Orchestra of Thessaloniki, working under notable conductors. Alakiozidou is also a founding member and Artistic Director of several musical ensembles and organizations, such as the "Tangos a Cuatro" ensemble and the contemporary music ensemble "Idée Fixe." Her recent focus has been on chamber music from the Russian Avant-Garde and promoting works by Greek composers from the 20th and 21st centuries.

Erato Alakiozidou has made significant contributions to the music scene through her recordings with labels like Odradek Records and DaVinci Records. Notable releases include "Light Over Darkness," which received acclaim for its high standard of musicianship and sound quality. She has been involved in organizing international seminars and concerts with prestigious institutions and has served as Artistic Director at the Municipal Conservatory Pyalai Chortiatis since 2020.
