Formed in the late '90s by Israeli-born guitarist C Lanzbom and New York-raised vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Noah Solomon Chase, the group originally took its name from Kibbutz Shorashim (translated as "Soulfarm"), where members connected through shared musical passions.
