Green River Ordinance

Green River Ordinance is an American rock band formed in Fort Worth, Texas, named after a local ordinance that restricts door-to-door solicitation. Initially assembled in 2001, the band consists of Josh Jenkins (lead vocals, acoustic guitar), Jamey Ice (guitar), Joshua Wilkerson (guitar, backing vocals), Geoff Ice (bass, backing vocals), and Denton Hunker (drums). The band's musical style deftly crosses genres, seamlessly blending rock, country, and pop with an infectious energy and heartfelt sincerity.

They debuted with "The Beauty of Letting Go" in 2005, and after steady touring and a growing fanbase, their follow-up, "Out of My Hands," found a place on the Billboard charts in 2009. Over the years, Green River Ordinance has forged an independent path, choosing to release their music outside the traditional label system after their departure from Capitol Records. Their subsequent works, such as "Under Fire" (2012), "Chasing Down the Wind" (2013), and "Fifteen" (2016), showcase the band's evolution and commitment to crafting songs that resonate with a sense of warmth and authenticity. Through albums like "The Collection - Live & Unplugged," they've also displayed their ability to strip down to raw, acoustic arrangements, endearing them further to a loyal fanbase that appreciates their down-to-earth, approachable style.
