Víctimas del Doctor Cerebro is a Mexican alternative rock band that's been rocking the Latin American music scene since the late 1980s. Originally known as Tecnopal, they changed their name to Víctimas del Doctor Cerebro (which translates to "Doctor Brain's Victims") to enter a contest for unpublished bands. The name was inspired by a villain from the famous Mexican wrestler El Santo's stories.
Founded by "El Chipotle" Flores, the band hails from Nezahualcoyotl and has become known for their unique blend of rock with themes of horror, supernatural elements, and Mexican cultural references. Their music often features songs about monsters and dark themes, reflecting their love for horror movies and the strong presence of death in Mexican culture. With a career spanning over 30 years, Víctimas del Doctor Cerebro has established themselves as a significant player in the Latin American rock scene, known for their energetic live performances and audience participation.
