Curl Up And Die

Curl Up And Die, often stylized as Curl Up and Die, was a mathcore band that originated in Las Vegas, Nevada. The band was known for their intense sonic amalgam of hardcore punk, metal, and noise rock, accompanied by highly intricate and aggressive rhythms. Formed in 1998, Curl Up And Die quickly made their mark within the hardcore scene with their blistering live shows and a relentless work ethic. The band’s lineup included Mike Minnick on vocals, Ryan Hartery and Matt Fuchs on guitars, and drummer Jesse Fitts.

The group's music was characterized by its complexity, often featuring abrupt tempo changes and dissonant guitar riffs, underpinned by a palpable sense of urgency and angst in their lyrics. Over the years, Curl Up And Die released a slew of records that cemented their place in the hardcore community. Their most recent releases, such as "The One Above All, The End Of All That Is." and "But the Past Ain't Through with Us," showcased their relentless drive to push the boundaries of their sound. Although the band officially disbanded in 2005, their influence can still be felt, and their records like "Unfortunately We're Not Robots" and "The Only Good Bug Is A Dead Bug" continue to inspire a new generation of hardcore and metal musicians with their visceral energy and unapologetically complex compositions.
