Kim Kashkashian

Kim Kashkashian, an esteemed American violist of Armenian descent, has distinguished herself as a musician of deep integrity, known for her warm tone, expressive phrasing, and compelling interpretations. Born on August 31, 1952, Kashkashian studied at the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore and later honed her craft at the Marlboro Music School and with the legendary violist Walter Trampler at the New England Conservatory.
