Balancing Act is a rock band from Los Angeles, California. The band was formed in 2015 by singer-songwriter and guitarist Ryan Cook, bassist and vocalist Chris Johnson, and drummer and vocalist Matt Johnson. Balancing Act's music is a blend of alternative rock, pop punk, and emo, with catchy melodies and introspective lyrics. The band has released two EPs, "She Plays the Theremin" (2016) and "Cheshire Smile" (2018), and is currently working on their debut full-length album.
