Nova y Jory

Nova y Jory are a dynamic reggaeton duo from Puerto Rico, composed of Fernando Sierra (Jory Boy) and Fernando Gonzalez (Nova). The duo skyrocketed to fame in the urban Latin music scene with their explosive chemistry and infectious rhythms. Emerging in the early 2010s, they quickly carved out a space for themselves with their debut album "Mucha Calidad," which released in 2011. The album's title track, as well as singles like "Bien Loco" and "Bienvenidos A Mi Mundo," showcased their ability to blend reggaeton with other urban styles, delivering a sound that resonated with fans across Latin America and among Hispanic communities globally.

Though their collaboration as a duo has since ended, with Jory Boy going on to pursue a successful solo career, Nova y Jory are remembered for their contribution to the genre and their energetic party anthems. Their music, acknowledged by hits like "Matador (Official Remix)" and "Aprovecha," which featured fellow reggaeton artist Daddy Yankee, left an indelible mark on their listeners. The duo's influence persists in the genre, with many of their songs, including the reinvigorated "Bien Loco (New Version)," still enjoyed by fans today. Their legacy is one of pushing the boundaries of reggaeton and helping to set the stage for the next generation of Latin music artists.
