Pillath, born Oliver Pillath on May 26, 1982, in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, is a renowned rapper from the Ruhr region. He gained respect in his hometown through freestyle battles before collaborating with Snaga on several mixtapes and albums. After a six-year hiatus, Pillath returned to music in 2015, releasing his debut solo album *Onkel Pillo* in 2016, which reached number 17 on the German charts.
