Sadananda Hamom

Hamom Sadananda Singh is a well-known singer and actor from Manipur, India, who originally started his career as a guitarist in local Western music bands during the late 1980s and early 1990s. He began singing after the sudden death of his elder brother, Shivananda, who had composed several Manipuri songs which Sadananda then performed and released in 1995 as his debut album "Angaobani Haibire." This marked the beginning of his popularity as a solo singer in the Manipuri music scene. Besides singing, Sadananda is also a prominent actor in the Manipuri film industry, having appeared in over 100 films since his debut in 2002 with "Ingengi Atiya (The Sky of Autumn)."
