Holy Ten

Mukudzei Chitsama, better known as Holy Ten, is a Zimbabwean rapper, songwriter, and music producer born on November 18, 1998, in Harare. He has made a name for himself in the Zimbabwean hip-hop scene with his deep voice, socially conscious lyrics, and compelling storytelling, often tackling issues relevant to Zimbabwean society. Holy Ten’s rise in music began around 2016, but he truly broke into the mainstream with his song *Ndaremerwa* and later solidified his reputation with the 2021 album *Risky Life*, which showcased his blend of sharp social critique and catchy, melodic beats.

Known for collaborations with local artists like Takura and Voltz JT, Holy Ten is also noted for his candidness, exemplified by his public regret over featuring on politically charged tracks, which stirred conversation in Zimbabwe. He married Kimberley Richards, a model and singer, in March 2023, and the couple welcomed their first child, Mukudzei Jr., in July 2023. This personal milestone added to the public’s interest in the artist beyond his music. Holy Ten remains a significant voice in Zimbabwean hip-hop, respected for combining lyrical depth with an accessible sound.
