Tha City Paper, also known as Young Paper, is an American rapper and hip-hop artist from Nashville, Tennessee. Growing up on the north and west side of Nashville, he developed an interest in rap during high school, influenced by local artists like Pistol and his group PJN. Tha City Paper's music career took off when he began featuring on tracks by other artists, eventually releasing his own mixtapes and albums. One of his notable mixtapes is *DOPaminE*, which caught the attention of Young Buck, leading to his signing with Cashville Records in 2012. Through Cashville, he collaborated with Young Buck on the mixtape *G.A.S. - Gangsta and Street*.

Tha City Paper has been involved in various projects over the years, including releases like *PaperView 2* and collaborations with other artists. His music often reflects his roots in Nashville's hip-hop scene, blending street narratives with a distinctive Southern style.
