5miinust is an Estonian hip-hop group formed in Võsu in 2015. The group originally consisted of Kristjan Jakobson (Estoni Kohver), Mihkel Tamm (Päevakoer), Karl Kivastik (Põhja-Korea), Priit Tomson (Lancelot), and Pavel Botšarov (Venelane), who left in 2023 to pursue a solo career. They gained prominence in 2018 with their albums "Aasta plaat" and "Rämmar," which charted well nationally. In 2019, they collaborated with Nublu on the hit single "Aluspükse," which topped the Eesti Tipp-40 chart for six weeks. They have since released numerous successful singles and collaborated with other artists, including Puuluup, with whom they represented Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with the song "(Nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi."
5miinust has been recognized at the Estonian Music Awards, winning Artist of the Year twice and receiving several nominations. Their music often blends hip-hop with other genres, reflecting their dynamic style. Recent releases include "Pilates Spiritual Clüb" and the collaborative album "Kannatused ehk külakiigel pole stopperit" with Puuluup.
