Streetmark

Streetmark is a German rock band formed in Düsseldorf in 1968. The band is known for blending progressive rock and krautrock styles, drawing influences from groups like Procol Harum, Focus, and Emerson, Lake and Palmer. Key members included Dorothea Raukes on keyboards and Thomas Schreiber on guitar, who were the driving forces behind the band. Streetmark's discography includes albums such as *Nordland* (1975), *Eileen* (1977), *Dry* (1979), and *Sky Racer* (1980). One of their most notable songs is *Lovers*, released in 1979, which gained chart success. Over the years, the band has had a rotating lineup, but Raukes and Schreiber remained core members.

Streetmark's music reflects a mix of experimental and melodic elements, typical of the krautrock genre. Their albums often feature complex arrangements and a blend of electronic and acoustic instrumentation.
