CxBxT is a collaborative trio that brings together three distinct musical voices: Japanese experimental artist Tujiko Noriko, British composer Adrian Corker, and percussionist George Barton. Their debut album, .After, was recorded in a single, spontaneous session in London, capturing a unique blend of ambient textures, improvisational chamber music, and electro-acoustic experimentation. The group’s sound is shaped by a mix of piano, shakuhachi, musical saw, field recordings, and acetate samples, resulting in an atmospheric and genre-defying listening experience.
Formed almost by accident, CxBxT thrives on the joy of creative play and the unpredictable energy of live improvisation. Their music resists easy categorization, instead offering a fragile, living ecosystem of sound that feels both intimate and expansive. With .After, CxBxT invites listeners into a world where accident and intention blur, and where each track unfolds like a fleeting, shared moment.
