His 2015 self-titled album with Kwashibu Area Band marked a remarkable comeback, showcasing his undiminished vocal prowess and earning him new audiences worldwide. The album, along with its successor "Obiaa!" released in 2019, are testaments to his continued relevance and ability to bridge traditional highlife with contemporary sounds. Thomas is known for his collaborations with other highlife legends like Ebo Taylor and for infusing his music with funk and afrobeat influences. With a discography replete with hits like "Sika" and the Henrik Schwarz mixed "Eye Nyam Nam 'A' Mensuro", Pat Thomas remains a seminal figure in the world of West African music.
