Magic Circle

Magic Circle is a doom metal band formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 2011. The group was founded by members of the Boston hardcore scene, including musicians from bands like The Rival Mob and No Tolerance. Magic Circle's sound draws heavy inspiration from classic bands like Black Sabbath, Saint Vitus, and Witchfinder General, blending elements of traditional doom metal with '70s hard rock and touches of psychedelic and progressive rock.

The band has released several albums through respected underground metal labels, including their self-titled debut in 2013 and follow-ups "Journey Blind" in 2015 and "Departed Souls" in 2019. Magic Circle's music features soulful, Ozzy Osbourne-inspired vocals from singer Brendan Radigan layered over crushing riffs and melodic leads, creating a sound that appeals to fans of classic metal while maintaining connections to the members' hardcore roots.
