Os Gonzagas

Os Gonzagas are a vibrant Brazilian forró band originating from João Pessoa, Paraíba, who officially came together in 2012, though they first appeared on stage as early as 2007. The group was formed by a mix of family and friends, and they quickly became known for bringing a youthful energy to traditional northeastern music without losing its authentic roots. In 2015, Os Gonzagas gained national attention as semifinalists on the second season of the TV show Superstar, broadcast by Rede Globo. Their rendition of "Vem Morena" even made it onto the soundtrack of the Globo soap opera "Êta Mundo Bom!!" The band has released several albums, including their most recent, "Onde Estará?" in 2018, and are well-known for live performances that showcase their dynamic sound and heartfelt lyrics.
