Red Velvet - IRENE & SEULGI

Red Velvet – IRENE & SEULGI is the first official sub-unit of the popular South Korean girl group Red Velvet, formed by SM Entertainment. As the name suggests, the unit features members Irene and Seulgi, both known for their strong stage presence and charisma. The duo made their debut in July 2020 with the mini album Monster, which showcased a darker, more mature concept compared to Red Velvet’s typical sound. The title track, also called “Monster,” received praise for its captivating choreography and bold musical style.

In addition to their debut EP, the pair released the sleek and stylish single “Naughty,” along with a remix through the iScreaM project by SM Entertainment’s EDM label, ScreaM Records. After a brief hiatus, they returned with their second mini album, TILT, offering fans another glimpse into their bold artistic identity. As a sub-unit, IRENE & SEULGI have carved out a unique niche with their synergy, striking visuals, and experimental soundscapes that continue to expand Red Velvet’s musical universe.
