West Village Trio is a jazz trio that has been playing together for over 20 years. They are known for their beautiful melodies, intricate harmonies, and swinging rhythms. West Village Trio is made up of pianist Ethan Iverson, bassist Reid Anderson, and drummer Dave King. Iverson is a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music and has performed with a wide range of artists, including Lee Konitz, Charlie Haden, and Paul Motian. Anderson is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music and has performed with a wide range of artists, including Bill Frisell, John Scofield, and Pat Metheny. King is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has performed with a wide range of artists, including John Zorn, Dave Douglas, and Uri Caine.
