**5th Season** is a progressive rock band formed in 2017, known for creating music that pays homage to the classic progressive rock era. Their sound draws deliberate inspiration from prog legends like Pink Floyd, Yes, Genesis, and Procol Harum, while also incorporating elements from bands like The Band and Little Feat. The group made its recording debut on Mikko Löytty’s solo album “Höyhen” in 2018 before solidifying as a full band and releasing their self-titled debut album in 2023. This album features collaborations with notable artists such as Durga McBroom and Jukka Gustavson, with a sound marked by strong songwriting and a tribute to the classic prog tradition.
