Down My Throat was a Finnish hardcore band active from 1996 to 2008. They were a significant part of the Helsinki hardcore scene and were known for blending early Integrity, Strife, Merauder, At the Gates, and influences from 80's thrash metal into their sound. They released several notable albums, including "Real Heroes Die" in 2001, which became a landmark in their career by combining hardcore with thrash and metal elements. This album was highly regarded and marked them as one of the most recognized Finnish hardcore bands outside of Finland.
During their time, Down My Throat released music primarily through Full House Records, a label founded by one of the band members to facilitate their releases. The band played their final show in May 2008 at Full House Records' 10th anniversary party.
