Selenseas

Selenseas is a heavy/power metal band hailing from Moscow, Russia, formed around 2010. The group is led by Vladislav Tyushin, who plays bass and is the main songwriter and vocalist Mikhail Kudrey provides the powerful singing that drives their sound. The band also features Roman Gorovets on guitars and Liudmila Malaya on drums. Vladislav, originally from Rzhev, a city near the Volga River, has a background in automotive electrical engineering but found his true passion in music, starting Selenseas after assembling the first lineup around 2009-2010. Their music is inspired by a wide range of emotions, stories, and experiences, blending heavy and power metal with themes of fantasy, mysticism, mythology, history, and philosophy.

Selenseas has been steadily growing their fanbase with several albums and live performances, including a notable live recording from 2017 in Moscow. They embrace the opportunities streaming platforms offer to connect with fans worldwide, while also recognizing the challenges musicians face with compensation.
