Selena Gomez & The Scene was an American pop band from Hollywood, California, formed in 2009. Fronted by the eponymous Selena Gomez, the band also consisted of Ethan Roberts on guitar, Joey Clement on bass, Greg Garman on drums, and Dane Forrest on keyboards. They gained prominence with their brand of energetic pop music, combined with dance and electro-pop influences. The group signed to Hollywood Records, and their debut album, "Kiss & Tell," was released in September 2009 to commercial success, setting the stage for their subsequent releases.

The band released three studio albums during its tenure: "Kiss & Tell" (2009), "A Year Without Rain" (2010), and "When the Sun Goes Down" (2011).
