Tempa

Tempa T, born Nicky Nyarko-Dei on October 9, 1984, is a prominent British grime MC from East London. He is best known for his 2009 underground anthem "Next Hype," which showcases his high-energy style, aggressive lyrics, and love of wordplay, frequently using the phrases "hype" and "par." Tempa T first gained attention in 2006 and quickly earned a reputation as an "angry Grime MC" and "hype man" with an infectious stage presence. He's been affiliated with the grime crew Slew Dem and has collaborated with notable acts like Chase & Status. His 2015 single "Shell" topped the UK Grime Chart for eight weeks, solidifying his place in the grime scene. Outside music, Tempa T has appeared in British films such as *Shank* and *Gangsters, Gamblers and Geezers* and is known to be a Manchester United fan.
