Brueder Selke is an award-winning composer duo consisting of brothers Sebastian and Daniel Selke. Originally from East Berlin, they are now based in Potsdam, Germany. Sebastian plays cello while Daniel focuses on piano. Their music often draws inspiration from their childhood experiences growing up in East Germany before and after the fall of the Berlin Wall. The brothers initially released music under the name CEEYS before transitioning to using Brueder Selke. Their compositions blend classical and contemporary styles, incorporating elements of minimalism, ambient, and experimental music.
