Kevin Reveyrand is a French **bassist, upright bass player, composer, and arranger** who's been making waves in the jazz and world music scenes since the early '90s. Born in France, he caught the music bug young—playing guitar, keyboards, and drums before his sister gave him his first bass for his birthday in 1987, which became his real passion. After cutting his teeth with local bands in Limoges, he made the big move to Paris in 2000, where he became a fixture at the legendary Baiser-Salé jazz club, jamming every Monday for three years and really launching his career.
What makes Reveyrand stand out is his **versatility and global perspective**. He's collaborated with musicians across jazz, world music, and fusion genres over the past two decades, performing at prestigious venues worldwide. In 2006, he co-founded **Tipari**, a Reunionese music group with percussionist and singer Corine Thuy-Thy. His 2013 debut album *World Songs* perfectly captures his musical journey—a four-year project recorded across hotel rooms during world tours, blending influences from Arabic, Yiddish, and African music with collaborators he'd worked with over fifteen years. Since then, he's continued releasing albums like *Todos Juntos* (2021), *Yolo* (2024), and *Extended Minimalism, Vol. 1* (2025).
