Chyno Nyno

Chyno Nyno, born Andre Rodriguez in New Jersey, was raised in various parts of Puerto Rico, including Carolina, Rio Grande, Loíza, and Trujillo Alto. His early exposure to music came from his father, a popular salsa DJ in New Jersey, which influenced his diverse musical tastes, spanning from salsa to soul and hip-hop. Chyno Nyno's career in music began with DJing, following in his father's footsteps, and he eventually transitioned to becoming a lyricist. His journey was marked by challenges, including a period of incarceration due to heroin addiction in the 1990s. However, this experience led him to focus on music as a path forward. Chyno Nyno gained recognition in the Latin Hip-Hop/Reggaeton scene, particularly after his mixtape caught the attention of Tego Calderón, leading to collaborations and performances across the East Coast and Puerto Rico.

Chyno Nyno's recent releases include tracks like "Rebeldia," "Fulana," "Aprende a Liriquear," and "Wasa," showcasing his continued involvement in the music scene. Despite facing personal struggles, he has established himself as a notable figure in Latin Hip-Hop and Reggaeton, known for his smooth flow and engaging performances.
