Big Richard

Big Richard is a sassy, all-female bluegrass supergroup hailing from Colorado, formed in 2021 as a fun side project that quickly blew up into something way bigger. Made up of powerhouse musicians Bonnie Sims on mandolin and vocals (from Bonnie & the Clydes), Eve Panning on fiddle and vocals (from FY5), Hazel Royer on bass and vocals (also from FY5), and Ariel Rosemberg on guitar and vocals, these gals bring a fresh, empowering vibe to the bluegrass scene with their tight harmonies, killer picking, and songs that tackle everything from heartbreak to hilarious everyday absurdities.

They burst onto the scene with high-energy live shows, including a standout performance at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, and have dropped tracks like "Alaska," "Girl Dinner," and "The Missing Stair" that blend traditional bluegrass roots with modern wit and attitude.
