Local Brass Quintet

The Local Brass Quintet is an innovative ensemble that emerged from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris. Comprised of François Petitprez and Javier Rossetto on trumpets, Benoit Collet on French horn, Romain Durand on trombone, and Tancrède Cymerman on tuba, this group has gained recognition for its dynamic performances. They were laureates of the prestigious Osaka International Chamber Music Competition, showcasing their versatility and skill in interpreting a wide range of musical styles. Their album "Stay Tuned" highlights their ability to explore various facets of brass quintet music, including compositions by Jean-Claude Gengembre and Thomas Enhco, as well as arrangements of works by Enrique Granados and Arturo Márquez. The quintet continues to captivate audiences with their energetic and sophisticated approach to chamber music.
