Gabriel Aragão

Gabriel Aragão is a multifaceted Brazilian artist known for his work as a singer, composer, multi-instrumentalist, music producer, and writer. Born in Fortaleza, Ceará, on November 16, 1987, he is best recognized as the founder and vocalist of the rock band Selvagens à Procura de Lei. With the band, he has released several albums, including "Aprendendo a Mentir," "Praieiro," and "Paraíso Portátil." Beyond his band work, Gabriel has pursued a solo career, releasing the EP "ABRECAMINHOS" and the instrumental soundtrack for the film "Malhada Vermelha," which was nominated for the 30th Prêmio da Música Brasileira. He also launched his first solo album, "Rua Mundo Novo," in 2023, produced by Marcelo Camelo.

Gabriel's creative endeavors extend beyond music; he is an accomplished writer who has published poetry and chronicles in the journal O Povo and the magazine Vós. His book "O Livro das Impermanências" was released in 2021, featuring poems written during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, he conducts workshops on music composition and storytelling, aiming to bridge gaps between aspiring musicians and the creative process. His recent releases include collaborations and reinterpretations of his solo work, showcasing his versatility and growth as an artist.
