Vittorio Rieti
Vittorio Rieti was an Italian composer born in Alexandria, Egypt, in 1898. He studied music in Milan and Rome before moving to the United States in 1938. Rieti's music is characterized by its neoclassical style, often incorporating elements of jazz and folk music. He composed a wide range of works, including operas, ballets, concertos, and chamber music. Rieti's music has been praised for its wit, charm, and rhythmic vitality. He died in New York City in 1994.
