A.N.I.M.A.L. (Abusando de Nuestra Inmensa Ansiedad por Luchar) is a pioneering Argentinian metal band that’s been shaking stages since 1992 with their fusion of thrash metal, hardcore, and Latin rhythms. Formed in Buenos Aires by vocalist Andrés Giménez and guitarist Marcelo Castro, they became icons of the "Latin metal" movement, blending socially conscious lyrics about indigenous rights, inequality, and political corruption with crushing riffs and Andean folk instrumentation. Their early albums like *Fin de un Mundo Enfermo* and *Poder Latino* cemented their reputation as rebels with a cause, while their high-energy live shows turned them into legends across South America.

After a hiatus in the 2000s, A.N.I.M.A.L. roared back with reunion shows and new material like *Legado* (2023), proving their fire hasn’t dimmed. Recent tracks like *I Won’t Bow Down* (featuring Giménez’s signature growls) and *Íntimo Extremo - 30 Años* celebrate their 30+ year legacy of activism-through-moshpits.
