Plain Speak
Plain Speak is an indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York. Formed in 2010, the band consists of vocalist and guitarist Matthew Phillip Andre, bassist and vocalist Max Almario, and drummer Jake Barthalow. Their music is characterized by its catchy melodies, introspective lyrics, and energetic live performances. Plain Speak has released several albums and EPs, including "Calamity" (2022), "Personal Best" (2020), and "I Was a Flame" (2018). They have toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, sharing the stage with bands like The National, Bon Iver, and The War on Drugs.
