RAMI THE REQUIEM

RAMI THE REQUIEM is the solo project of Japanese heavy metal singer and lyricist Rami. Known for her powerful vocals, Rami first made waves in the Japanese metal scene as the co-founder and vocalist of the all-female power metal band Aldious from 2008 to 2012. After a brief hiatus, she returned to music with the project band Raglaia in 2015 before launching her solo career in 2016. In 2020, Rami adopted the moniker "RAMI THE REQUIEM" for her new musical endeavor, releasing the digital single "Requiem" in March of that year.

Under the RAMI THE REQUIEM banner, she has released several works, including the single "Serial Killer" in July 2020 and her first full-length album "Gyōan Dōkoku" (暁闇慟哭) in June 2021. Her most recent release is "Dark Birth Era" in 2023. Rami's music continues to showcase her roots in heavy metal while exploring new sonic territories, cementing her status as a versatile and enduring figure in Japan's metal scene.
