CARVIN WINANS

Born in Detroit, Michigan in 1958 to Delores and David Winans, Carvin Winans grew up surrounded by music—a world he began exploring at just four years old. As one of the standout members of the Grammy-winning gospel quartet The Winans, Carvin established himself not only as an expressive singer, but also as a passionate communicator and producer within the gospel and contemporary Christian music scenes. His career spans decades, starting with early projects in the 1970s and continuing to inspire with new music, including recent releases like “Blessings,” “Shining Star,” and “God Still Working On Me”.

As a pioneer of modern gospel, Carvin Winans’s influence extends beyond his work with his brothers as he continues to perform, record, and connect with audiences around the world.
