Rachel Novaes

Rachel Novaes is a Brazilian gospel singer who has been involved in music since childhood, influenced early on by her mother, a piano teacher. She was active in church worship groups from a young age and later chose to pursue formal music education at the Universidade Livre de Música Tom Jobim, graduating in 2001. Rachel’s career took off with the release of her first studio album, *Ao Rei*, in 2011, which featured collaborations with well-known artists like Paulo César Baruk and Nívea Soares, earning her nominations at the Troféu Promessas awards. Known for heartfelt and inspiring lyrics, many of her songs reflect her personal faith journey, including a song inspired by her struggles with fertility. Rachel currently resides in Ubatuba, São Paulo, where she continues her ministry through music and has successfully connected with audiences through live performances and digital streams, notably during the pandemic.
