**Yoni & Geti** is a collaborative project between two indie music eccentrics: **Yoni Wolf** (frontperson of art-rap outfit Why?) and **David "Serengeti" Cohn** (a prolific storyteller-rapper known for his character-driven narratives). Blending off-kilter hip-hop, lo-fi experimentation, and wry lyricism, their work feels like a shared diary of surreal late-night drives and existential humor. Their 2016 album *Testarossa* serves as a concept piece about a crumbling relationship, weaving cinematic vignettes around a couple navigating love, loss, and bizarre detours. Tracks like "Madeline" and "Lunchline" showcase their knack for pairing hazy beats with conversational, often darkly comic storytelling. Live recordings, like their *Audiotree* session, highlight their loose, collaborative energy—think two friends riffing on life’s absurdities over warped synths and skeletal grooves.
