Ray J

Ray J, born William Ray Norwood Jr. on January 17, 1981, is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, television personality, actor, and entrepreneur. He is the younger brother of recording artist and actress Brandy Norwood and the first cousin of rapper Snoop Dogg. Often known for his sultry R&B tracks and occasional forays into hip-hop, Ray J has carved out a place for himself in the music industry marked by a blend of smooth vocal stylings and catchy, club-ready beats.

Ray J's career took off in 1997 with the release of his debut album "Everything You Want," which housed the hit single "Let It Go" featured on the "Set It Off" soundtrack. Since his entry into the music scene, Ray J has released several albums, including "This Ain't a Game" and "All I Feel." However, he gained major media attention with singles like "One Wish" from his third studio album "Raydiation," which became a Top 20 hit. Beyond the microphone, Ray J has also been notable for his television appearances and forays into tech entrepreneurship. In recent years, releases like "Raydemption" and "Progression" reflect his ongoing evolution as an artist, while tracks such as "On Top" and "Holiday Wit The Hoes" showcase his versatility and ability to stay relevant in the ever-changing musical landscape.
