Miklós Forrai was a Hungarian conductor, choir director, and music professor who lived from 1913 to 1998. Born in Magyarszék, he studied at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, where he was later accepted into Zoltán Kodály's composition class. Forrai made a name for himself in the world of choral music and became known for his interpretations of works by composers like Franz Liszt. In 1980, he received the Robert Schumann Prize from the City of Zwickau, recognizing his contributions to music.
