Kazik & Kwartet ProForma is an artistic collaboration between the renowned Polish rock musician Kazik Staszewski and the jazz-oriented Kwartet ProForma. Kazik, born in Warsaw in 1963, is a prominent figure in Polish rock and alternative music, best known as the lead singer of the band Kult. Throughout his career, Kazik has been celebrated for his distinctive voice and poignant lyrics that often touch on political and social issues with sharp wit and intelligence.

Kwartet ProForma, a quartet known for its innovative approach to music, joined forces with Kazik to create a fusion of rock and jazz that carries the characteristic depth and eclectic style of Kazik's earlier work while introducing a new level of musical sophistication and instrumental finesse. Together, they've released compelling works that showcase their musical prowess and creative synergy. Among their notable releases are "Tata Kazika kontra Hedora," an album that serves as a tribute to Kazik's late father and continues the theme initiated in "Tata Kazika," as well as singles like "Ta droga była daleka (Radio Edit)" and "Wiwisekcja," which further cemented their place in the Polish music scene as innovators and celebrated artists.
