The Lee Harveys

The Lee Harveys are a punk band formed in December 2009. The band's lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Bitzy, previously played in The Strougers, a punk band active from 1977 to 1981. Initially, The Lee Harveys started as a punk cover band but soon transitioned to writing original songs. Over the years, they have released several albums, including "Gun City," "Still Angry," "Bullet For The President," "Resistance Is Not Terrorism," and more recently, "221." The band's music is characterized by its energetic live performances and socially conscious lyrics, often addressing political and social issues. Bitzy is joined by Paul on drums, Peter on lead guitar, and Sam on bass, with Peter also being a founding member of Paranoid Visions, one of Ireland's longest-running punk bands.

The Lee Harveys are known for their dynamic live shows, which often include covers of classic punk tracks. Their music is a blend of 1977-style punk with modern elements, making them a standout in the contemporary punk scene. The band members are also involved in various professions outside of music, including addiction support work and running a record label.
