Ali Bumaye is a German rapper of Palestinian descent, born Ali Alulu Abdul-razzak on January 11, 1985, in West Berlin. He grew up in the Berlin neighborhood of Neukölln and comes from a large family with nine siblings. His parents fled from Palestine to Lebanon in 1948 and later moved to Germany in 1974. Before his music career, Ali worked as a chef and in security, notably for Bushido. He initially performed under the name "Ali" but later adopted "Ali Bumaye," inspired by the chant "Ali, boma ye!" from the famous Rumble in the Jungle boxing match. Ali Bumaye gained recognition with his debut single "Voll süß aber" in 2014 and went on to release several successful albums, including *Fette Unterhaltung* (2015) and *Rumble in the Jungle* (2016). His music often features collaborations with prominent figures in the German hip-hop scene.
In recent years, Ali Bumaye has continued to release new music, including singles like "Jordan Elephant," "George," and more recent tracks such as "SCHON WIEDER COMEBACK," "ALBTRÄUME," and "Peter Pan." He has also ventured into other projects, including an interview series called "Ali therapiert," where he hosts conversations with various guests from the music industry. His career reflects a blend of hip-hop culture and personal storytelling, often drawing inspiration from his diverse background and experiences.
