Vorgrum

Vorgrum is a longstanding fantasy and folk/pagan metal band hailing from Buenos Aires, Argentina. The group was founded in 2009 by Folter, initially under a different name, and has evolved into a vibrant act known for blending elements of Finnish melodeath, folk, and black metal influences with their own Argentinian twist, while incorporating accordion and humppa rhythms for an energetic, celebratory sound. After gathering a lineup of musicians, Vorgrum released their debut EP “The Awakening” in 2011, which led to their first live shows. They continued to grow, releasing full-length albums like “Last Domain” (2015) and “Party in the Deep” (2018), both of which were promoted on tours in Europe. Even as band members changed, Folter carried on, independently releasing singles such as “Ancient Whisper” (2022) and continuing to deliver spirited, fantasy-themed metal for fans worldwide.

Their discography features recent releases like “Summit of Dreams,” “Nature Emerge,” and “Ancient Whisper,” showing a creative arc that remains rooted in themes of heritage, trolls, and woodland lore. Vorgrum is celebrated for their fresh take on folk metal, offering a fun, high-energy experience that channels the spirit of bands like Ensiferum, Finntroll, and Moonsorrow, yet with a personality all their own.
