Dr. Natesan Ramani, popularly known as N. Ramani, was an esteemed Indian flautist renowned for his mastery of the Carnatic music tradition. Born on October 15, 1934, in Tiruvarur, Tamil Nadu, Ramani began his flute training under the tutelage of his grandfather, Sri Aazhiyur Narayanaswami Iyer, and later became a celebrated disciple of the legendary flautist T.R. Mahalingam (Mali).
