Sumu

Sumu is a hardcore band from Tampere, Finland, formed in 2022 by guitarist Eero and drummer Juspu. They started out as a duo and have since been making waves in the hardcore scene with their energetic sound and fresh approach. Their music features a raw intensity characteristic of Finnish hardcore, appealing to fans of tight, aggressive punk-inspired beats and powerful vocals.

This Sumu should not be confused with Sumo, the influential 1980s Argentine alternative rock band led by Luca Prodan, known for blending post-punk and reggae influences and shaping the Argentine rock scene. The Finnish Sumu is a more recent project rooted in hardcore music.
