Muggeseggel is a death metal/grindcore outfit from Lörrach, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, known for their high-energy, tongue-in-cheek approach to extreme music. Their music blends the chaotic intensity of grindcore, the weight of death metal, and the speed of thrash, often infused with a playful, regional twist—lyrics and themes touch on local dialect, wine, and poetry, giving their sound a distinctly Alemannic flavor. Formed in 2022, Muggeseggel’s current lineup features Saubueb on drums, Lieslige Karle and Trübli-Udo on guitars (with Trübli-Udo also handling bass), and Bruttler on vocals. Some members have ties to other acts, like Convictors, adding a bit of underground metal pedigree to the group. Their 2025 release Lällekönig showcases their relentless, wild, and mercilessly heavy style, proving they’re as committed to fun as they are to ferocity.
