Lower Class Brats

Lower Class Brats are a punk rock band hailing from Austin, Texas, that emerged onto the music scene in the mid-1990s. Known for their aggressive style and defiant punk ethos, the band's sound is heavily influenced by the British punk wave, particularly the brash stylings of the Oi! subgenre. The group was formed by lead vocalist Bones DeLarge and guitarist Marty Volume, and they quickly became known for their high-energy performances, rabble-rousing lyrics, and a subversive attitude that resonated with a loyal fanbase.

With releases such as "Loud And Out Of Tune" (2007), a raw live album that captures the band's raucous energy; "The New Seditionaries" (2006), which combines anthemic choruses with a snarling punk rock sneer; "A Class of Our Own" (2003), showcasing a refined street punk sound; and "Rather Be Hated Than Ignored" (1997), their blistering debut full-length, Lower Class Brats have cemented their place in the punk rock landscape. Despite lineup changes and the ebb and flow of the music industry, the band has remained unwavering in its commitment to delivering pure, unadulterated punk music to their devoted followers while also attracting a new generation of punks with their timeless sound and relentless spirit.
