Busker Busker

Busker Busker is an indie band from South Korea that rose to prominence in 2011 as a breakout star from the television talent show "Superstar K," finishing in second place in the show's third season. The band is comprised of guitarist and lead vocalist Jang Beom-june, bassist Kim Hyung-tae, and drummer Brad Moore. Their style is a blend of folk, rock, and pop and is known for its catchy melodies and heartfelt lyrics, capturing the essence of youth, love, and the bittersweet tang of everyday life.

Following their success on "Superstar K," Busker Busker quickly capitalized on their newfound fame with the release of their debut album, "Busker Busker 1st," which received critical acclaim and commercial success. They followed up with "Busker Busker 1st Wrap Up Album," a supplementary release to their debut, which solidified their status as a mainstay in the Korean music scene. Their sophomore effort, "Busker Busker 2nd," continued to demonstrate their songwriting prowess and ability to connect with a wide audience. Songs like "Cherry Blossom Ending," from their first album, have become seasonal anthems in South Korea, charting annually during the spring season. The band's approachable yet profound sound has helped them forge a distinct place in the music industry, garnering a loyal fan base within and beyond South Korea.
